  1. In summary we have a fleet of 2K$ notepad with internet browser with a very long battery life. I can see people interested in them for some reason but I will wait to see more affordable options (like sub 1K) OR a big improvement in support before I take the step.

  2. I like how they keep harping on battery and nothing else. Because that is all this laptop has going for it. Not everyone cares only about battery, like the trash emulation delivered for example.

  3. I've had to restart my samsung book4 edge at least 20 times in the few weeks I've had it. When I come back from sleep sometimes it's frozen on a white screen. Sometimes youtube just doesn't work. Pairing my samsung earbuds to it has been a nightmare and I'm considering returning it just because of the issues connecting my samsung brand earbuds.

  4. These laptops won’t be for me simply since I need to use solidworks, matlab, labview and multisim at college.
School has a list of laptops but they even recommend a gaming laptop as those are plenty powerful to get trough the 4/5 years of school without needing to buy a new one.

Also most of them have okay battery life but every classroom has more outlets than seats so yeah. My laptop is where all my school work is done on and some games.
My desktop is only for gaming, checking pdf’s and typing essays.
I used to install solidworks on it but then would always forget to move the files between my pc and laptop.

  5. Pinokio win32 crashed when booting up on my Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Edge Arm Snapdragon X-Elite, lol super ironic. Oled screen, instant book sleep, and battery life are insane. my 30 day programming dev challenge is not bad. WIndows 11 is suprising good for devs. The windows, edge, gitub, is nice cohesive. lol i dont really use copiliot but i will give it as its also msft openai.

I hope as samsung fixes the firmware the laptop battery life gets even better as emulation is heavy on battery.

WSL is nice too. I hate dependency hell so i keep mac mini, windows x86 laptop, and ubuntu pc. LOL but so far windows arm and snapdragm laptop is pretty dope!

  6. the answer is the AMD 370AI CPU – I'm sure I butchered the name, but hey, AMD marketing, I just can't memorize it. Despite the chip's disadvantage of having an unmemorizable name that's even harder to pronounce, the chip itself is great. I wouldn't waste time with the Snapdragon.

  7. I switched to an LG Gram for this experience. I've had it for 3 years and it's still running strong! The only grips I have against it is speakers too low with no bass and bottom firing. And no touch screen. So I think I can manage for a little while. I have a razor 15 for real tasks and gaming.
