Wait, a military branch of the US government intentionally tried to save money? No department of the federal government is ever concerned about spending, the word "budget" has become nothing more than another political term to be used with countless other meaningless political terms in empty campaign promises regurgitated every two years…with basically a endless budget for military the decision to use PS3 had nothing to do with a budget. More likely the decision was made because the gaming platform would be more familiar to those setting up and using this "super computer" therefore generating results faster than using traditional methods.
